What are "Ishikawa Brand Products"?

Products developed or improved by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ishikawa Prefecture that excel in novelty and originality of technology are certified as "Ishikawa Brand Products" by the prefectural government. The five target fields are (1) machinery, (2) information, (3) textiles and other industrial materials, (4) food, and (5) traditional crafts, lifestyle goods, and interior goods.

AMONG THESE PRODUCTS, THOSE THAT ARE PARTICULARLY ATTRACTIVE AND HAVE POTENTIAL FOR FUTURE GROWTH ARE RECOGNIZED AS "PREMIUM ISHIKAWA BRAND PRODUCTS (GRAND PRIZE)" AND "GOOD ISHIKAWA BRAND PRODUCTS (EXCELLENCE AWARD)". THE PREFECTURE HAS CREATED THE FOLLOWING SYMBOL MARK TO WIDELY PROMOTE THE VALUE OF THESE PRODUCTS, AND ONLY PRODUCTS CERTIFIED AS "ISHIKAWA BRAND PRODUCTS" MAY USE THIS SYMBOL MARK.
